**Logistics Coordinator - Moncton**

We are the largest company in Atlantic Canada dedicated exclusively to material handling equipment; we have been providing our customers with high quality equipment, rentals, parts and service since 1993. With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for qualified individual to take on a **Logistics Coordinator**within the **Dock and Door Department** at our **Moncton Branch**.

**As Logistics Coordinator you will**:

- Receive calls from customers and assess the type of dock and door service required
- Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received
- Dispatch technicians to specific jobs
- Keep track of the technician workloads to ensure that work is allocated effectively and efficiently amongst technicians
- Utilize technician time efficiently by minimizing lost time between, before and after jobs and minimize travel cost
- Schedule PM’s that are under contract to Prime, so they are completed on time and any follow-up work is completed as requested by the customer
- Update and maintain preventive maintenance list
- Maintain service invoice log
- Take parts orders from customers/technicians over the phone or counter order.
- Receive parts orders from suppliers.
- Locate and source new parts.
- Assist with annual physical inventory.
- Ship parts to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Respond to inquiries from technicians and customers regarding part status.
- Contact customers when parts arrive.
- Ensure that stock inventory is ordered and received on a weekly basis.
- Sort warranty parts for shipping as per the warranty spreadsheet updates.
- Stock shelves with new inventory.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills related to dispatch and inventory
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers
- Strong ability to effectively utilize time by effectively scheduling to minimize lost time and travel costs
- Attention to detail and problem solving
- Ability to brainstorm techniques to create a variety of choices to solve issues on hand
- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years related experience in Logistics
