Commercial Real Estate Leasing Representative

The Shapiro Group is looking for an experienced individual to join its Leasing Team.
Forming part of the leasing team, the individual sought will be involved in all leasing activities including marketing and lease renewals for industrial, office and retail properties.
**Responsibilities**:
The person sought will be involved in all aspects of the leasing department, including:
- Plan and oversee the marketing of various properties
- Seek out new tenants, with the goal of filling vacant space
- Deal with and maintain relationships with brokers
- Ensure that leases up for renewal are dealt with in a timely fashion
- Interact with accounting, legal, operations and construction teams as required
Qualifications/Skills
- This is a hands on position
- 3 -5 years commercial leasing experience
- Ability to deal with existing tenants, potential tenants and outside brokers in a timely fashion and in a professional manner
- Must be organized and able to keep track of a high level of information and follow up
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- English and French proficiency
