**Overview**
We are looking for a visionary Executive Chef to lead the kitchen for an exciting new restaurant concept rooted in coastal global influences, with a strong focus on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. This is a hands-on leadership role for a creative and disciplined chef who will shape the culinary direction, build and lead a high-performing team, and collaborate closely with the ownership group and other departments to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

**Culinary Leadership & Menu Innovation**
- Lead the development and execution of a creative, seasonal menu aligned with the restaurant’s concept and culinary vision.
- Design Limited Time Offers (LTOs) and special features that highlight flavor, innovation, and cultural depth.
- Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of presentation, taste, and consistency.

**Kitchen Operations & Financial Oversight**
- Manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness.
- Maintain control of food costs (COGS), labor scheduling, and kitchen budgets.
- Oversee inventory, supplier relationships, and purchasing to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Utilize tools like MarketMan to document recipes and track costs.

**Team Building & Management**
- Hire, train, and mentor a skilled culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth.
- Lead daily preps and service with a hands-on approach, creating a collaborative and disciplined kitchen environment.
- Promote open communication and coordination between the kitchen and other departments including FOH, marketing, and operations.

**Compliance & Standards**
- Ensure full adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
- Stay informed on culinary trends and bring fresh ideas and techniques to the menu.
- **Qualifications**_

**Required**:

- Formal culinary education or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader in a high-volume, quality-driven environment.
- Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern and/or Mediterranean cuisine.
- Expertise in kitchen financials, cost control, and labor management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of team development, recipe standardization, and operational systems.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in restaurant openings or concept development.
- Proficiency with kitchen management software (e.g., MarketMan).
- A creative eye for plating and a deep respect for ingredients and tradition.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
