Position Overview
We are currently looking for a highly organized, responsible, and knowledgeable Accounts Receivable Specialist. The role will primarily be responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds and general administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in monthly balancing of AR closings
- Make daily collection calls on overdue accounts
- Prepare and send monthly statements
- Process customer credit card transactions
- Billing preparations including scanning and indexing order sheets and deliver tickets
- Maintain pump tickets daily to process monthly interval invoices
- Assist with invoicing and customer service
- Reconcile A/R to the G/L
- Meetings, wearing PPE while on site, etc.
- Participate in Company Safety program and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school degree or equivalent
- 2-3 years of prior accounting experience
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy through attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks
- Proficient in utilizing accounting software and computer-based tools to support and streamline financial processes
- Associate’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred)

Hours of Work
- Hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM
- Overtime may be required to support operations from time to time, especially during the busy construction season

Work Environment
- This is primarily an in-office position.
- Infrequent travel to worksites in Edmonton and area may be required
- PPE is required while on worksites, including CSA steel-toed boots.
