**Position Overview**:
As a Junior Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in our sales team by assisting with technical aspects of the sales process. You will work closely with experienced Sales Engineers to understand our products, identify customer needs, and support the sales team in delivering tailored solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quote Preparation**: Assist in preparing quotes based on tender documents and drawings.
- **Training and Support**: Learn from and assist senior sales reps and agent rep firms in respective territories
- **Relationships Building**: Collaborate with senior team members to build and maintain new and current relationships with contractors, distributions, and consultants
- **Technical Presentations**: Conduct and participate in technical presentations.
- **Product Standards and Compliance**: Collaborate with in-house engineers and the design team to ensure our products meet industry standards and compliance requirements.
- **R&D and New Product Development**: Participate in research and development discussions and meetings.
- **Sales Opportunities**: Seek out and follow up on new sales opportunities.
- **Travel**: Periodic travel to affiliated rep firms and customer locations is required.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication skills in English are required.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.

**Highly Preferred**:

- Knowledge of Autodesk software.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in the electrical industry, either in contracting or engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with electrical power distribution equipment and related infrastructure.
