We aim to develop long lasting partnerships with organizations and communities that will increase awareness, opportunities and the quality of life for persons and families living with disabilities.

Spring/Summer Program Volunteer

**Outdoor Intermediate Paracycling**:As a cycling volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating athletes' transfers to and from bicycles and customizing equipment to accommodate participants. Volunteers may also be asked to aid in the planning of cycling routes, cycle alongside athletes to offer guidance and foster socialization, as well as assist in the loading and unloading of bicycles. Ability to ride and ownership of a bicycle and helmet is required.
- **Location**: Cloverdale Community League (9411 97 Ave NW, Edmonton)
- **Dates**:July 2 - August 27, 2025 (Excludes August 6)

**Adapted Kayaking**:As a kayaking volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating athletes' transfers to and from kayaks and kayaking with participants and engaging in conversations.
- **Location**:Rundle Park Paddle Centre (2909 113 Ave NW, Edmonton)
- **Dates**: July 7 - August 18, 2025 (No class August 4)

**Para-Golf**: As a golf volunteer, your responsibilities will include assisting participants in obtaining proper equipment, ensuring the availability of golf balls for all, and engaging with participants and family members.
- **Location**: Victoria Driving Range (12130 River Valley Rd NW, Edmonton)
- **Dates**: June 3 - July 15 (No class on July 1)
- **Location**: Edmonton Petroleum Golf and Country Club (51320 Range Rd 260, Spruce Grove, AB) - Driving range
- **Dates**: June 27, July 18, August 15

**One-For-All Summer Camp**:As a camp volunteer, you will aid in the delivery of various activities and interact with participants. There will be kayaking every Friday of camp.
- **Location**:Woodcroft Community League (13915 115 Ave NW, Edmonton); Fridays at Rundle Park Paddle Centre (2909 113 Ave NW, Edmonton)
- **Dates**: July 21-25, July 28- August 1, August 5-8
- **Time**: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

**Qualifications**:

- No previous experience working with individuals who have disabilities is required.
- Ability to volunteer days/evenings during the week or weekend depending on program.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from programs.
- Must complete training provided by the organization.
- Must complete a Police Vulnerable Sector Check.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help with the set up of equipment and space as needed
- Help with the clean up of programs (put equipment away and lock up storage facilities as needed etc.)
- Take direction from the instructors/leaders of the program as needed.
- Interact with participants and them feel welcome at program.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
