**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
BOOKKEEPER Part time

**THE COMPANY**:

**THE ROLE**:
Bookkeeper is directly responsible for daily and monthly functional accounting, supporting the financial reporting, performing key tasks related to fiscal period closings, will act as a direct accounting contact.

**ACTIVITIES**:

- Full cycle of Bookkeeping Including AR, AP
- Online Banking, EFT, Wires, interact set up and run.
- Month end closing procedures including but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Record and balance intercompany transactions,
- Complete regulatory filings: HST, and Other Government remittance, set up if needed.
- Preparing financial statements to Upper Managements.
- Organize and file documentation.
- **Must Know** Quick Books, Salesforce, Microsoft Excel.

**COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING**:

- 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a diploma in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated customer service skills, both internal and external, with the ability to resolve conflicts.
- Analytical
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation for complex documentation.
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Type of Supervision Required
- Works under general instructions to prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
