Three Lakes Development Inc is a partnership between three GTA Builders and has successfully launched The Stars in Bobcaygeon, an up and coming residential subdivision with over 270+ new homes being built in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes.

**Summary**

The Junior Accountant shall be responsible for assisting the Accounts Manager with the accounting tasks.

**Job Duties**
- Ensure supplier invoices are processed on a timely manner.
- Recording of all Vendor Payments, Salary & Other Operational Expenses Payments.
- Ensure Sales Invoices are processed, and all related documentation is kept updated.
- Maintaining General ledger updated on timely basis.
- Recording of all Bank transactions on timely basis.
- Reconciling bank accounts with accounting system.
- Act as first point of contact for customer and vendor inquiries/concerns.
- Updating all the vendors Invoices & Sales Invoices in the designated hard Files & soft Folders.
- Reconciling Ledgers with Vendors & Customers as required.
- Reporting routine accounting reports to Directors on periodic Intervals & when asked for.
- Visiting Banks for related duties as required or assigned.
- Compiling reports for HST Returns and working towards Reports for Year end closing.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary or undergraduate diploma/degree in Accounting.
- One year or more experience and knowledge of all aspects of accounting cycle.
- Know how or Previous experience of Sage Accounting will be an asset.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are vital to the role.
- Working level knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
