The Junior Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Participate in budgeting processes and assist with corporate finance tasks.
  • Help manage payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero and PeopleSoft for various accounting tasks.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of budgeting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in bank reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with accounting software, particularly Xero and PeopleSoft, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and payroll management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial auditing practices.
