In 2010, they took the bold step of becoming a comprehensive full-service provider, expanding their offerings beyond scaffold leasing to include labor and eventually all soft crafts. This strategic move allowed Bartlett to meet the diverse needs of their clients more effectively. Since then, Bartlett's portfolio has expanded to also include general and specialty mechanical and refractory services.

We are looking for a **FABRICATION SHOP SUPERVISOR** to lead this new initiative

The Fabrication Shop Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation and administration of the Fabrication shop. The supervisor is responsible to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the shop while focusing on cost effective repairs and project completion.

**Job Duties**
- Supervision of all fabrication of scaffolding, utilizing the robotic cell technology
- Confirm all materials required
- Complete all paperwork required to track welding and assure the quality requirements are being attained
- Confirm and maintain records of all worker’s qualifications
- Ensure the output of work by team members is done in a timely manner and everyone is focused on high priority projects and meeting BOSS operational needs
- Ensure all related company policies and/or procedures are followed
- Ensure that shop and all support staff adheres to all provincial, federal standards and related safety requirements
- Understand and support the CWB, ABSA policies and procedures
- QUALITY STATEMENT
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education Requirements**
- Preference will be given to a Journeyman Welder license, Red Seal preferred
- CWB and ABSA certification an asset

**Skills & Experience**
- 5 years’ of experience in a Supervisory role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Good attention to detail

**Work Conditions**
- Shop environment. Site visits will be required on occasion (warehouse, outdoor environment)
- Interacts with clients/customers, employees, and other management staff.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Overtime may be required.
- Travel may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Welding: 1 year (preferred)
