**COMPANY PROFILE** Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services. **SUMMARY** The Pipefitter is involved in the Fabrication of Pipe spools from 4"-30" **Anticipated Start**:As soon as possible. **Location**: Edmonton, AB Fabrication Shop **Shift**:Night Shift, 4:30pm-2am, Mon-Thurs, OT available on Fridays and Saturdays **Night Shift Premium**: $3.00/hr **Foreman Premium**: $5.00/hr **Dual Ticket Premium**: $1.00/hr **Base Rate**: $45.30 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training) **JOB DUTIES** - Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards - Lead a cohesive team - Fit pipe using shop control drawings (acorn) - Tack weld fitting components - Prepping/grinding factory beveled pipe ends - Utilize elbow jigs and external clamps whenever possible - Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings - May perform other duties as assigned such as operating skid steer **QUALIFICATIONS** - Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT) - CSTS-09 and/or CSTS-20 - B-Pressure welding experience - Tacking & Fabrication Shop experience is considered an asset - Shop hydro experience is considered an asset - Able to work well in a team environment - Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field - Organized and self-motivated - Bench fab shop experience is essential **BENEFITS** - Retirement Savings Plan - Pension - Health and Welfare - Life Insurance - Dental Plan - Prescription Coverage - Optical/Vision Insurance - Massage Therapy - Short Term Disability - Long Term Disability - Employee and Family Assistance Program - $500 PAPR respirator reimbursement after 1000 hours - Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement Program Pre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.
