Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

**SUMMARY**

The Structural and Plate Fitter is involved in fabrication of piping/plate components. This work exists indoors or outdoors and may be physically demanding.

**Anticipated Start**:June 23, 2025

**Location**: Edmonton, AB Fabrication Shop

**Shift**:Day Shift, 6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs

**Rate**: $42.18 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training)

**JOB DUTIES**
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Will be working with Pipefitters
- Fit/layout plate/pipe using shop control drawings(acorn)
- Tack weld fitting components (plates and pipe fittings such as flanges, elbows, reducers etc.)
- Utilize elbow jigs and external pipe clamps whenever possible
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson, hold a valid recognized credential, or possess the skills and knowledge expected of a Journeyperson.
- CSTS-09 and/or CSTS-20
- Confined space
- Overhead crane and rigging
- Fabricating experience on piping is an asset but willing to train.
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field
- Organized and self-motivated
