The Field Service in Training position offers comprehensive field service support, troubleshooting, and customer assistance both on-site and in our workshop, specifically for Plate Heat Exchangers. The goal is to ensure reliable operation, optimal performance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborating with our CIP Team as a Junior Technician. This role involves supporting and learning to perform selected services from our 360º service portfolio on standard products.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION (outline job duties and responsibilities):

- Complete ALSOC learnings and assessments as assigned by the mentor.
- Read and digest maintenance manuals and complete learning logs relative to your product exposure.
- Support and learn how to execute maintenance and repairs on standard products at customer site.
- Complete preparation checklists for the service job to be undertaken.
- Follow up on actions and promises made to customers.
- Report unsafe practices, incidents and work for continuous improvement.
- Capture Installed Base on site and communicate sales opportunities to sales organization.
- Proactive recommendation to customers for purchase of spares.
- Execute service in our Service Centers as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED
- Technical diploma with mechanical or technical / vocational training
- Experience in lieu of education: Minimum of 3 years industrial experience with mechanical focus or demonstrated work related mechanical.

- Possess a broad-based, hands-on knowledge and experience with various types of mechanical equipment
- Ability to listen to customer needs
- Possess an understanding of maintenance work processes.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong customer relationship building abilities with excellent influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
- High energy with high level of self-initiative and strong sense of urgency.
- High integrity.
- Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office).
- Ability to use measuring devices (multi-meter, temperature, pressure, airflow, Etc. ).
- Safety training, stay current with Annual, Monthly, Bi-Annually required training for immediate job site access.
