**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food prep areas and cooking stations
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
**Skills**
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of meal preparation and food service procedures
- Skilled in using kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices is a plus
