**Job Summary**

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist will report to the AR Supervisor and play a crucial role in the billing and the AR function. The individual will be detail-oriented and will be responsible for maintaining payment records, generating invoices, collecting payments, reconciling accounts, and strengthening client relationships.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
- Strengthening relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts and creating payment plans
- Reconciling accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Generating and sending invoices to clients.
- Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
- Monthly preparation of AR aging report
- Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
- Other related duties as assigned

**Full-Time hours of availability (MTN)**
- Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:00 PM

**AR Specialist Qualifications/Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Ability to report to the Calgary office fulltime

**Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma in accounting is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
- Basic understanding of accounting,
- Previous Accounts Receivable experience preferred (2 years)
