We are seeking a motivated AP/AR Specialist to join our finance team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and supporting our company's financial health. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to the smooth operation of our financial systems.

  • Process and verify all accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, approval workflows, and vendor payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Manage accounts receivable by invoicing customers promptly, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts with professionalism and persistence.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and analysis of outstanding balances.
  • Preparation for payroll
  • Assist in other bookkeeping and admin tasks

Experience

  • Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable functions within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of payroll
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret financial data accurately and efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
