For more information, please visit www.sunocolp.com .A place where you can take your career in the direction you want to grow and goThe Opportunity:The Lead Specialist - SAP FICO - AP/AR/GL/TR position is primarily responsible for supporting the SAP S4 Finance modules for users with in-depth expertise in SAP FICO areas such as GL, AP, AR, and TR. Knowledgeable and experienced with other modules such as SD, MM & PP, along with the corresponding business processes and related project implementation. The candidate will use in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.Responsibilities:Key member of the configuration team responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution supporting Finance in the areas of AP, AR, GL and Treasury.Ability to work on enterprise solutions and support legacy innovation challengesOpportunity to complete a holistic solution by defining functional design gaps and solutions for objects to add to the system.Confidently and assertively liaison with business users and management.Ensure appropriate support and new development documentation is followed (i.e., scope, design, test plans, issues, and cutover lists, project plans).Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral and written communications and deliverables.Facilitate the issue resolution process by tracking the status of issues in process.\Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral and written communications and deliverablesEducation:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceRequirements:8+ years of related experienceFunctional/technical proficiency with at least 4+ full life cycle SAP implementations and 8+ years of industry and/or consulting experience in SAP FICOStrong functional analyst with hands-on working experience with SAP FI/CO. Extensive knowledge working with SAP GL, AP, AR, COPA, CCA, PCA, Fixed Assets and Cash Management.Experience in configuring multiple ledgers, accounting principles, and currency types.Knowledge of foreign currency transactions, revaluation & translationExperience with third-party tax applications like Vertex preferredExperience in building interfaces e.g. with banks, third party applications is required.Sound knowledge in setting up vendor/customer payment processes & hands-on knowledge in DME configuration for domestic and cross-border payments and electronic bank statements (BAI2, MT940 etc.)Experience with Serrala preferredExperience in the areas of S4HANA Finance and Vendor Invoice ManagementExperience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlinesStrong project management, configuration, and design skillsMust have a demonstrated strong desire to excel and be committed to building eminenceFamiliarity with SDLC processes such as Agile, Waterfall etc.Strong tracking, coordination, and project planning skillsAble to follow change management procedures and internal guidelinesDemonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standardsPreferred Qualifications:SAP S/4HANA both from technical and functional perspectivePrevious experience in Midstream Oil & Gas industry is a plusSAP Certification is a plusHumble.
