**JOB TITLE: MATERIAL HANDLER**

**REPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER**

**JOB FUNCTION**:
In support of the Mission and Vision of SyBridge Technologies Inc., the **_Material Handler _**is responsible for

operating and tending metal or plastic molding, core making, or casting machines to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products. SyBridge Technologies. Reporting to the **Operations Manager**, the **_Material Handler _**ensures quality is a priority every time while also achieving deadlines and customer satisfaction.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**General Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Grinding scrap parts and cleaning grinders
- Unloading and loading of trucks as required
- Making sure all material is properly labeled prior to removing the skid from the workstation
- Mixing the proper percentage of regrind to virgin/color concentrate to virgin
- Moving finished product to the staging area
- Keeping an inventory of all packaging, material, and components
- Preparing the operator workstation for the next job during a mold change
- Cleaning of machine hoppers and reloading with the next scheduled material during a mold change
- Supply and remove packaging, components, etc. to all workstations
- Keep material fed to all presses running
- Clean dryer hoppers and filters then reload for the next scheduled material
- Set proper temperatures for dryers
- Build boxes as required
- Housekeeping

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Material Handler/Forklift driver experience is an asset
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 55lbs
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to follow safe work practices

- Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required
- Ability to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of measurement
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Planning and prioritizing activities
- Always maintaining the highest standards of workmanship

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
