**Sales Agronomist**

**Who We Are**

AGT Soileos is on a mission to support sustainable agriculture with Soileos, a pioneering micronutrient biofertilizer that enhances crop yields, improves soil health, and is non-polluting and climate positive. For our Canadian sales team, we are looking for a **Sales Agronomist** who can drive our growth by educating retailers and customers on the benefits of Soileos and supporting their transition to sustainable practices.

**Job Overview**

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Agronomist will focus on advising, educating, and building strong relationships with retail partners, agronomists, and growers to promote the adoption of Soileos across Saskatchewan. This role will develop and support distributor and retail partnerships, working closely with customers to achieve sales targets and expand Soileos’ reach.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives, revenue targets, and grow Soileos' market presence.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and strategic sales channels to drive customer adoption.
- Present technical product information to key decision-makers at retail and grower levels.
- Conduct field trials and product demonstrations, educating potential customers on agronomic benefits and product efficacy.
- Analyze competitive market data and customer needs to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and research, to align on product positioning and market strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet changing market dynamics.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (3) years’ experience in agronomy sales or related roles, with a focus on agribusiness preferred.
- Strong understanding of agronomy principles, soil health, and nutrient management practices.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and fostering customer relationships in the agriculture sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Skilled in time management and capable of managing multiple accounts within a large territory.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving and achieving business goals.

**Compensation**

The salary for this role is between $65,000-70,000 CAD annually.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
