Site Manager at PHS Canada. PHS is a dynamic startup specializing in HVAC control and automation systems in the industrial field. The Site Manager plays a key role in the daily management of a construction site: supervising teams, ensuring compliance with plans and safety requirements, and coordinating with the general contractor and other trades. Responsibilities Supervise and direct field workers: give clear instructions and distribute tasks based on skills. Attend project coordination meetings organized by the general contractor or project manager. Verify compliance with plans, technical specifications and timelines; evaluate progress and implement corrective actions. Produce monitoring reports and manage completion deadlines in collaboration with the project manager. Apply safety standards: enforce safety rules, provide safety equipment and train new workers. Control materials and equipment: check stock, ensure availability, and maintain machines and tools in good condition. Communicate with stakeholders: report to management, coordinate subcontractor interventions and manage interface with subcontractors. Control quality: ensure work meets quality standards and customer requirements; inspect finishes. Problem solving: react quickly to unexpected events, propose solutions and manage conflicts between workers. Qualifications Diploma in building mechanics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in building automation. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of site management experience, ideally on building automation projects. In‑depth knowledge of building management system installation and commissioning techniques, materials, safety standards and regulations. Ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Effective communication skills in official languages; bilingual English/ French proficiency required in Atlantic Canada. Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, or similar. Working Conditions Location: Construction site, mainly Quebec, travelling required. Hours: Flexible depending on project progress. Environment: Exposure to weather conditions, noise, dust and other construction site risks. In accordance with Bill 96, this job requires English proficiency to serve clients in Atlantic Canada and interact with US suppliers, ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
