**Tool and Equipment Manager - Burnaby, BC**

As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of warehouse material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, stocking, staging and counting inventory and keep organized all goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices and requests from customers.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices, packing slips and purchase orders
- Control all the documents received with the material and keep them organized in the server (packing slip, travel sheet, MTRs)
- Work with the Quality Department for shipment coordination.
- Warehouse housekeeping - General cleanliness of the yard and warehouse.
- Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse material handling equipment
- Maintain the necessary inventory levels of supplies and tools to support the production needs.
- Collect, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, measuring devices, and other equipment and maintain records of withdrawals and returning of tooling.
- Ensure that all tools are in good condition and meet calibration specifications.
- Use forklift to load/unload trucks and trailers and store material where required.
- Review pending jobs or trends, plan for warehouse space reorganization, and needed stock level changes.
- Helping the PMs/Site supervisors with their orders and deliveries, keep the team informed (inform material was delivered, localize material, prepare material for shipping to job site).

**Work conditions you can expect while performing your role to include**:

- Working both indoors and outdoors area.
- Using standard equipment such as power tools, hand tools etc.
- Required to lift/move loads of up to 50lbs.

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years in warehouse environment - Preferred
- Able to work well independently
- Forklift Certificate - Preferred
- Safety conscious and promote safety awareness
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Ability to multi-task throughout the workday
- Ability to interact and work well with others and under mínimal supervision
- Basic understanding and knowledge of pipe and fittings is an asset.
- Able to deliveries and pick ups at suppliers and jobsites - Class 5 required

**Additional Information**:

- Competitive salary starting at $25/hour to $30/hour depending on experience.
- Full-time, Permanent position - Monday thru Friday. 7:00am - 3:30pm
