YVR is a place of connection, bringing together people, places and cargo while ensuring a safe and efficient experience for everyone. Terminal Operations manages a plethora of service contracts set up to ensure a positive passenger and guest experience at YVR.

**Position overview**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing day-to-day operation of service contracts; providing leadership and guidance on contractual terms and conditions, and managing the change order process
- Overseeing contract specifications and Key Performance Indicators, onboarding new service providers and managing regular extra services contract changes/requests
- Ensuring contracts are delivered according to budget, and as stipulated in their agreements
- Monitoring service contract performance
- Managing various operational and capital budgets
- Working closely with contractors and other YVR departments
- Providing input on capital projects and operational plans

**Key qualifications include**:

- Two years’ recent, related experience, supplemented by a minimum of a two-year post-secondary certificate or diploma; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Proven experience in a complex, operational customer service environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract services, contracting principles and processes
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written), including interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage time, stay organized and work independently
- Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to plan and execute tactical plans
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite with proven skills in MS Word and Excel
