We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic Finance team.

**As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will**:

- Sort and code invoices, receipts and inventory receiving paperwork
- Work with internal departments and external vendors to verify supporting documentation is accurate
- Enter information from supporting documentation into the Magstar ERP software
- Prepare cheque, EFT, ACH and wire payments for both scheduled and manual payments
- Ensure that the Accounts Payable Sub Ledger and General Ledger are in sync
- Follow month and year end procedures in order to successfully close out the fiscal periods
- Prepare documentation to support both internal and external audit efforts
- Contribute feedback for potential process improvements to the current ERP implementation in regards to Accounts Payable
- General filing and office administrative duties

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excels in working in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and confidentiality
- Strong decision making, communication (verbal and written), and analytical skills
- Experience in Magstar software is considered an asset
