**Who we need**
This is an opportunity to own and drive business in Toronto, working with existing and new customers. As a Sales Representative on the Outside Sales team, you will spend your days on the phone and on the road, gaining insights into the wholesale Plumbing needs in your territory. You will actively pursue opportunities and earn an uncapped commission as you meet and exceed your quotas, working in collaboration with our Inside Sales team.
**Key Objectives**:
- Maximize Sales Growth in assigned territory by increasing sales to existing customers, building relationships with new prospects and turning these relationships into revenue and providing our customers with a level of service that is easily recognized throughout the industry as “the best”
- Utilizing a professional sales process that includes prospecting, networking, goal setting, time management for success, target account management, call planning and reporting, sales forecasting vs quota
- Be open to continually improving sales skills through: Self-improvement, Training, Coaching
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and exceeded as outlined in the Company Health and Safety Manual
- Demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability daily with regards to attitude, job performance, professionalism and commitment to continuous development
- Support and promote the company’s Core Values of Personal Excellence, Teamwork and Achievement
**Education/Experience**:
- College degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years successful experience in Plumbing industry
**Key Competencies**:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Plumbing products
- Strong time management, organizational and decision making skills.
- Highly self-motivated, goal oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Demonstrated competence in computer usage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
