ToolTown, a leading Canadian-Owned hardware retailer, offering a wide range of products, including tarps, hand and power tools, outdoor equipment, hardware, and workwear. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Purchasing Coordinator** to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end purchasing process, including managing orders, processing credits, handling invoicing, coordinating online orders, and preparing sales reports. Your strong organizational, time management skills, and skills in Excel, will ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

As the key liaison between our vendors, internal teams, and customers, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining seamless communication and fostering positive relationships across all channels.

**Duties**
- Prepare, submit, track, and reconcile purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and credits
- Coordinate with buyers, stores, and vendors to manage orders, discrepancies, and price changes
- Make sure credits, orders, invoices, and shipments are processed efficiently and on time.
- Prepare sales reports and discrepancy reports for buyers
- Delegate online orders to packing locations and process customer refunds
- Maintain information in the item database
- Monitor damaged goods, customer returns, and vendor credit requests
- Work with our team to resolve customer complaints and issues with items or vendors
- File paperwork

**Skills**
- Intermediate Excel skills: V-Lookup, pivot tables, data importing, concatenation
- Experience in Microsoft Office Applications
- Product knowledge of hardware and tools is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and attention to detail
- Takes initiative and can problem solve and self-teach
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks/projects
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience
- Minimum two (2) yeas of experience in a purchasing or related role
- Customer service experience
- Experience in supply chain management
- QuickBooks experience is an asset

Pay: $37,500 Salary

Hours: 40 per week

Work location: in person
