The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies. The Financial Services department is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and supportive individual for the regular full-time position of Financial Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the Financial Operations and Reporting Manager, the Financial Operations Supervisor position is responsible for providing day-to-day support and direction to the financial operations team, ensuring that Financial Services’ practices comply with legal, statutory, and accounting best practices and established financial policies of the Legislative Assembly. **QUALIFICATIONS** Applicants must be/have: - Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration or a related program, plus at least three years of progressive accounting and financial administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - At least one year of experience in a supervisory/team lead role. - Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Experience working in a parliamentary or public sector environment. - CPA designation or current CPA enrollment. - Experience using an ERP system such as Workday.
