**Job Summary**

S3 Technical specializes in delivering and manufacturing innovative, high-quality custom and specialty aluminum and stainless-steel cladding products.

**Responsibilities**
- Automation and Design Project Management - set, record, and track project progression, costs, designs, and provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to the CEO and CFO.
- Identification of automation opportunities within S3 Technical and the assembly processes, and developing blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair current automation machines and a laser CNC machine.
- Develop processes for manufacturing CNC optimization.
- Develop training and maintenance guides for current and new automation machines.
- Support leaders in all departments with training on the usage and maintenance of automated machines.
- Ensure health and safety processes and procedures are adhered to in our shops.
- Effectively communicate departmental and company-wide goals to employees productively and constructively.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, automation, controls or a related field.
- Proven experience in a design leadership role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD/CAM Software (Fusion 360) and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with PLCs, wiring, pneumatics, and motor controllers
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
