**About the Job**

The primary responsibility for the position is to provide the Customer Development team with completion of day-to-day administrative activities, projects, research and ad hoc requests. Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and / or IT departments on a daily basis. **Position Accountabilities**:

- Work with Customer Development Managers (CDMs) and Territory Managers to prepare Customer Development plans and ensure changing business or account needs are adapted into the plans
- Work with CDMs to ensure new or established product presentations and marketing driven promotions are developed and presented to the customer
- Ensure all promotional items are correct in the operating system and communicated to the field sales team
- Maintain and reconcile promotional and trade spend customer plans
- Compile spreadsheets utilizing information/statistics retrieved from AS400, Cognos and Sobey’s specific portals (i.e. IRI)
- Liaison and build relationships with customer head office on all administrative issues such as UPC’s, samples, account specific form completion, pricing etc.
- Prepare new listing/delisting documents, and ensure distribution to Sales / Marketing Departments
- Prepare documentation of customer cost changes and other forms as required

**Experience and Qualifications Required**
- University or college degree/diploma and or equivalent experience in an office sales environment supporting multiple individuals
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience on customer portals, on-line platforms and experience with AS400 (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be results-driven, resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects and strict deadlines with mínimal supervision
- High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to get along with diverse personalities
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced environment with ever changing needs
