**Overview**
- Reports to Sr Director, Merchandising
- Assist in product development process, managing line list, pricing files and samples.
- Work closely with design, sourcing and sales to achieve pricing targets & successful product launches.
- Aide in the development and implementation of seasonal merchandise plans, designed to deliver new and innovative product to the marketplace, to support key brand inchoatives, marketplace distinctions, business growth strategy and to meet margin requirements.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Collaborate with other areas (design, PD, marketing, planning, e-commerce and sales) to insure communication and alignment, efficient go to market process, high levels of new product adoption and on time delivery.
- Track success of new products and provide key learnings for future developments. [sell-thru, retail placement, consumer reviews]
- Aide in analysis of sku rationalization and management of brand framework
- Organize competitive analysis, understand product trends in current marketplace and implications for our products & strategy
- Establish line lists & costing analysis.
- Support key account sales meetings preparations
- Assist in item set up process

**Key Qualifications**
- Apparel merchandising, planning, retail apparel sales and or retail assistant buyer background.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and strong communication skills are important for this role.
- Working knowledge of excel and Microsoft office tools.
- Able to multitask and re-prioritize workload based on business demands and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross functional teams.
