Pan Pacific Toronto, a premier hotel with 405 well-appointed rooms and 24,000 square feet of versatile conference and event space, is seeking a meticulous and experienced **Accounts Receivable Specialist & Income Auditor** to join our accounting team. This dual role is crucial for ensuring accurate revenue tracking, compliance, and financial integrity across the hotel’s operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Income Auditor Duties**:

- Verify daily room rates, outlet revenues, and event billing to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Audit and reconcile daily sales reports, checking for discrepancies and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
- Prepare and present daily revenue summaries to management, highlighting any issues or irregularities.
- Review banquet event orders, contracts, and postings to verify accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with the Financial Controller on period-end closing processes, including auditing financial statements and night audit reports.

**Accounts Receivable Duties**:

- Manage the complete accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing.
- Monitor aging reports, proactively manage overdue accounts, and follow up on delinquent payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries about their accounts, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve collection issues and ensure the timely settlement of invoices.
- Conduct regular credit meetings with the Sales team to manage outstanding balances and payment schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of revenue auditing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Opera, Oracle, and QuickBooks. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Key Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other teams.
