Toronto, Canada Fable Full time

**About Fable, and the role you will play**

Fable is a Toronto-based accessibility company that is helping businesses make their digital products and services accessible to a billion people with disabilities worldwide. We are looking for an exceptional Enterprise Product Manager for our core offering, Fable Engage. Engage connects digital teams to people with disabilities for user research and testing. Our customers are using Engage to change the way they build product, track improvements, and shift from focusing on compliance to usability.

**Why you will love this position**

**Create massive impact**

We are not solving a small problem, and we are not addressing a small market. You will be driving a product that is used by leading technology companies such as Shopify, Walmart, Wealthsimple, and many more.

**Own the full product experience**

More than just a funnel-step or a feature, you will consider the full journey our users take and work closely with our senior team members to highlight the most impactful initiatives to achieve our goals.

**Lend your voice**

We are looking for team members who are passionate about maturing our product practice, empathizing with our users, and are comfortable sharing their thoughts in constructive debate.

**Balance**

Engineers and designers are equal partners in creating value for customers. We do not subscribe to the idea that only designers get to be creative. The best ideas come from a collaboration and you're the facilitator.

**Responsibilities**

**Help our customers approach accessibility with confidence**

Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and our customer success team to craft engaging product experiences. You will work closely with Fable's senior team members to craft the vision for future growth of the platform and define goals for the product team.

**Full ownership and accountability**

Drive the product from ideation through implementation and launch, focusing on excellent execution. You will maintain documentation on the 'why' & 'how' of our Product work and keep stakeholders informed at each step.

**Choose the right tool for the job**

Determine the appropriate mix of qualitative tactics and quantitative analysis to inform product decisions. We will work collaboratively to evaluate and mature our product KPIs, establishing new metrics, as necessary.

**Craft an effective Roadmap**

You will be responsible for maintaining a Roadmap and plan of action to deliver on our Product Strategy, continuously add value to the platform, and consider input from our internal and Customer Success teams.

**Requirements**:
**Must haves**

**Experience**

4+ years working in Product Management. Demonstrated experience leading efforts to ideate, design, launch, and iterate on an Enterprise Product. Strong familiarity with how tooling and custom workflows impact team members at large companies.

**Influential communication**

You are someone who takes the lead in collaborative efforts. You are a persuasive writer who can communicate complex ideas with simplicity and can rally people behind your vision.

**Technical mindset**

You have a strong understanding of the modern development stack for a Web App and how it applies to planning Sprints and scoping work (Continuous Integration, automated testing, feature flags, system architecture, etc.) You do not need to know how to code, but you must be comfortable discussing technical details with back and front-end developers (navigating tradeoffs, etc.)

**Outcome driven**

You have gone through multiple cycles of setting and debating OKR's. You have a favorite road-mapping / product planning tool (and all the complaints that come along with it) You lead discussions with the intended outcome stated up-front and can easily articulate a decision-making framework that has worked for you in the past.

**Experience we will consider an asset**:

- Experience working in the digital accessibility field
- Having experience incorporating user research into your product development process
- Working on a product where the end user was a member of the Product Development team (Research, QA, Product Manager, Designers etc.)
- Working on a product in the user research space, compliance space, or a marketplace
- Implementing & working with self-serve analytics tools (Google, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) and defining data collection needs.

**Effective ways to stand out**
- Teach us something that you have learned about Product Management for an Enterprise experience
- Demonstrate that your written communication skills can be concise and persuasive

**Benefits**

**What's in it for you?**

At Fable, you'll join a vibrant and rapid growth environment where you'll work with individuals who share the same values of being passionate, socially driven, inclusive, collaborative, and respectful. We offer great benefits such as stock options, career progression, professional development, health/dental benefits, and more.
