**About the role**

As a self-guided facilitator, you will be tasked with scheduling, facilitating, monitoring, and trimming video sessions with Fable's community of assistive technology users. Unmoderated sessions (known as self-guided tasks) are a crucial type of research request within Fable where testers independently evaluate essential functions within digital products via video recording. You will attend, view and record unmoderated video sessions while also ensuring that testers are set up for success. Additionally, you will work closely with teams across Fable to ensure video recordings are high quality by visually identifying privacy concerns to meet our standards before they are shared with customers. Administrative duties such as viewing/trimming videos of the recorded sessions, scheduling sessions, tracking tester time, and building rapport with testers are part of your day-to-day activities.

- **Compassionate and warm**: You can be open and personable so that you can set a positive tone at the start of sessions
- **Passionate**: Be interested and curious about assistive technology and accessibility
- **Digital literacy**:Comfortable with VPNs, Mac and PC, iOS, and Android, etc.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage self-guided tasks on the Fable platform, including reviewing the task description and task flow steps, scheduling requests, uploading recordings, and marking the tasks complete
- Collaborate with the community, accessibility innovation, sales, and customer success teams
- Provide quality control by supporting testers with their video recording set up including screen sharing, audio sharing, and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise
- Actively monitor video recording sessions by watching but not interacting with the tester as they evaluate digital products and pausing the recording whenever the tester asks to pause
- Review unmoderated request recordings ensuring no confidential information is visually or auditorily shared during the recording. If a privacy leak occurs, you will be responsible for video trimming to obscure, remove, or hide confidential information
- View and trim videos independently with short turn around times
- Track details about self-guided tasks by completing an unmoderated request form for every video recording session
- Assist with administrative support and creation of documentation
- Help train testers to participate in self-guided tasks on Fable's platform

**Nice to have**
- Facilitation experience (remote or in person)
- An understanding of assistive technologies (such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, ZoomText, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Headmouse, etc)
- Familiarity with WCAG or inclusive design principles
- Digital literacy (comfortable with VPNs, Mac and PC, iOS, and Android, etc.)
- Familiarity with Zoom and other screen sharing platforms
- Familiarity with video trimming
