**The Role**:
The Coordinator, Human Resources is responsible for assisting and supporting the HR operational activities including those related to administration, onboarding, recruiting, employee engagement, performance, retention, training and offboarding.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Recruitment & Selection
- Prepares new hire documentation and initiate the hiring process.
- Work with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Draft job ads and post positions in ADP and other recruitment platforms.
- Liaise with external recruitment firms as applicable to build talent pipelines.
- Coordinate career fair and recruitment event attendance and logistics.

Onboarding & Orientation
- Plan, support, and execute the new employee onboarding process.
- Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and support continuous improvement to foster early integration.
- Coordinate onboarding programs with hiring managers.

Data Management
- Maintain employee electronic records and update organizational charts and floor plans.
- Create, maintain and update employee profiles in ADP.
- Maintain and update content on Confluence, our team workspace platform.
- Initiate reports on HR metrics on a regular basis and conduct data audits as required.
- Maintain the HR SharePoint site.
- Support and execute employee offboarding activities, including system updates and asset retention.
- Coordinate, monitor and follow up on training and development activities.

Policies and Procedures
- Maintain HR operational processes, and update policies and procedures.
- Research legislation and trends to ensure compliance and adoption of best practices.
- Support activities related to performance management program.

Employee Engagement
- Plan and coordinate employee events.
- Support communication and delivery of employee engagement survey and feedback processes.
- Develop employee features and communications materials to support engagement.

Role may evolve beyond the responsibilities listed as skills and experience is acquired.

**You will bring**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma in Human Resource, Business Administration, or relevant discipline, required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar Human Resources role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, rigorous in all areas of work.
- Ability to propose improvements to processes in order to gain operational efficiencies.

- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization and writing skills.
