**Guest Service Agent** **SUMMARY**: **POSITION PROFILE**: The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Guest Service Agent, you will not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You will also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Perform all desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in and out, making room reservations, giving recommendations, and providing directions. Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner, as the first point of contact. Handles duty manager shifts and also all situations as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the appropriate Department Head. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION**: **Administration** - Enthusiastically greet guests upon arrival. - Register and assign rooms to guests promptly and efficiently. - Transmit and receive messages using all communication avenues. - Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining,entertainment, and travel directions. - Listen to and solve guests’ concerns. - Keep record of room availability and rate. - Compute bills, collect payment, and make change for guests. - Thank each guest by name for choosing your hotel. Invite back. - Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all communication avenues. - Accurately post charges such as room, food & Beverage to guest bill. - Make reservations, transportation, for guests. - Log and conduct wake-up calls timely and pleasantly. - Ability to focus on the guest, ensuring complete satisfaction with each transaction / interaction. - Ability to accurately use various office software. - Ability to willingly perform other customer service and guest-related functions as required. - Function as a liaison between Front Desk and the Housekeeping Department in coordinating rooms. - Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift. **DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**: **Education**:High school diploma or equivalent experience **Skills**: - Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using phone systems and computer software - Strong problem-solving abilities - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information - Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join our team as a Guest Service Agent and be part of creating memorable experiences for our guests.
