We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a Purchasing Agent at PUNNY FARM INC., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for our operations. You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory levels to support our farming activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source suppliers and vendors for agricultural inputs, equipment, and services.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Collaborate with farm managers to identify purchasing needs and requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to purchasing activities.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or similar role in the agricultural industry is an asset.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Knowledge of agricultural inputs and equipment is desirable.
