**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the QA Coordinator, the Summer Student QA, will be responsible for day-to-day operations to maintain the facility's food safety and quality system.
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain SDC’s food safety and quality system.
- Maintain records of monitoring and verification documents, including Receiving, Daily Warehouse Inspections, Load Plans, Temperature Monitoring, etc.
- Update the return products list in the complaint log (SharePoint).
- Perform calibration of IR thermometers and cooler thermometers.
- Follow up on daily and master sanitation schedules.
- Follow up on supplier incidents and customer complaints.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a college or University program in Food Science or a related field.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Computer Literacy (intermediate MS Word, MS Excel).
- Strong attention to detail.
