HR Summer Co-op Students

**As an HR Summer student, you will work closely with the HR team, gaining hands-on experience in writing and refining job descriptions. Responsibilities include researching job roles, collaborating with department heads, and ensuring clarity and consistency in postings. This role helps build skills in HR documentation, compliance, and other HR functions.**
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting and posting job openings across departments (Sales, Filing, Admin, etc.) based on current hiring needs within an immigration consultancy
Collaborate with department heads to prepare and update clear, role-specific job descriptions aligned with company goals
Support the onboarding and induction process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the team and proper understanding of their responsibilities
Help maintain employee records, attendance tracking, and performance reports using internal systems and tools
Coordinate internal team management processes, including task allocation follow-ups, performance monitoring, and time tracking
Assist the HR Manager in organizing weekly meetings, documenting discussions, and ensuring follow-through on action points
Work closely with the CRM and case management teams to update employee task records and maintain client-handling standards
Support initiatives to improve team communication, coordination, and workflow across departments
Participate in drafting internal HR policies and communications that promote transparency, integrity, and productivity
Assist in organizing internal training sessions, engagement activities, and feedback collection for continuous improvement
Contribute to process improvements that align with Purpose Immigration’s vision of client-focused and well-structured service delivery
Take part in weekly project review meetings and provide HR updates to the Manager

**QualificationsMinimum Qualifications**:
- Working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resource Management and/or Business Management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
- A customer-focused approach, with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Pay: $17.25-$18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
