**Responsibilities**:

- Routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with the preventive maintenance program
- Carry out assigned work orders and report daily activities
- Installation and modification work - mechanical, electrical or refrigeration
- Maintenance electrician functions
- Carry out repairs on equipment and buildings not associated with production lines (i. e. cold store equipment, yard lighting, forklifts, trucks, office fittings and facilities, building fabric, etc.
- Follow proper inventory procedures
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
- Keep clean any areas in which work is performed including the workshop and any transit areas to and from the workshop
- The successful applicant will enroll in a Millwright Certification program and complete hours necessary for certification on the job. Additionally, adjustments will be made to work schedules to accommodate the academic and practical requirements of the program.
- Maintain and adhere to the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma is required
- Strong mechanical / electrical aptitude is preferred
- Experience in a food manufacturing facility would be an asset along with knowledge of food safety and HACCP is preferred
- Successful completion of the Aspire Bakeries Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) program would be an asset is preferred
- Advanced problem-solving abilities
- Computer literacy
