**Responsibilities**:
The Co-op student or Apprentice would support our Maintenance team in performing the tasks below under the mentorship of our Electrical Technician and under the supervision of our Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist outside services in the maintenance and servicing of all equipment, machines and cranes as assigned.
- Support building maintenance including repair of electrical systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and grounds maintenance as required Responsible for all electrical modifications and repairs and must follow lock-out tag out procedures.
- Assist tooling department with any assigned tasks.
- Trouble shoots and repair plant equipment as required to maintain production efficiencies.
- Prepares reports as necessary.
- Participates in work order completion supplied by the company’s preventative maintenance program (electrically).
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

**General**:

- Complies with the designated quality standards, responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
- Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and that all department personnel and visitors utilize safe work habits. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required at all times.
- Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
- Strives for continuous improvement.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in high school co-op program Exposure to Industrial work environment
