Electrical / Solar Estimator

We are looking for an Electrical / Solar Estimator to join our team that can provide quotations for residential, commercial, agricultural and other types of solar PV projects. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The Electrical / Solar Estimator representative is responsible for developing quotes using our internal software and Microsoft products
- Estimating the cost of the electrical work on solar PV installations of all sizes.
- Responding to RFP’s and providing quotes and clarifications.
- Attending trade shows and doing site visits to prospective customers may be required.
- Working closely with our Solar Project Coordinator on wins.
- Calling potential customers may also be part of the job when quotes are completed.
- Completing sales reports

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience estimating electrical work seen as an asset.
- Training as an engineer (electrical or mechanical) or education in a technical college would be seen as an asset.
- Education or experience in solar PV would be seen as an asset
- Previous inside sales experience will be seen as an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
