Our projects are primarily on commercial & industrial buildings in Calgary, Edmonton, and smaller centers across Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. We have deep expertise in solar, EV charging, battery storage, and LED lighting upgrades.

We are adding design-build electrical to our suite of services and are looking for an ambitious estimator to join our growing team.

**About the Role**

**Key Accountabilities**:
**1.**Estimate costs for solar & electrical projects, including but not limited to: commercial base buildings, tenant improvements, LED lighting upgrades, battery storage, and EV charging projects.

**2.**Analyze project costing and refine estimating.

**3.**Participate in preliminary design of electrical systems.

**4.**Update Customer-facing proposal documentation with proposed designs and inclusions/exclusions for review

**5.**Cultivate relationships with key suppliers.

**6.**Seek out bidding opportunities on a variety of public platforms (Merx, APC, Construction Connect, Compass, etc).

**7.**Stay apprised of new incentive programs and new technology, products, installation methods, codes, changes and opportunities in the market

**Secondary Accountabilities**:
**1.**Be a Team Player: Maintain clear communication with your team (designers, PM’s and PC’s), create a positive working environment

**2.**Pursue multiple projects at a time using effective prioritization and time management

**3.**Attend site bidding opportunities as company representative

**4.**Keep meticulous records, improve company processes and the quality of finished product.

**5.**Project risk assessment: identify project risks, develop plans and strategies to mitigate risks in bids

**Qualifications Required**:

- 5+ years commercial electrical experience
- Journeyperson electrician
- 3+ years estimating experience
- Ability to perform design and sizing of electrical equipment per the CEC Experience estimating in Accubid
- Ability to navigate and use software, including Bluebeam Revu, OneDrive/Sharepoint, and Microsoft Word & Excel
- Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
