# Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and solar energy systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the electrical trade and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

# Responsibilities
- Ensure personal and job site safety, including proper use of PPE and Fall Protection
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation process
- Distributing material and solar modules throughout the site, including up and down ladders
- Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following engineering specifications
- Assist in the assembly and installation of racking systems, modules, and electrical components
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar PV systems
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of solar energy systems
- Assist in quality control/assurance tasks
- Assist in installing Panel upgrades, service upgrades and other electrical work as needed
- Assist in stocking and maintaining an organized and clean work Van
- Providing friendly service to all customers.

# Skills (required)
- Experience with power tools for construction projects
- Good Mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working on roofs (various slopes)
- previous roofing or solar experience is considered a strong asset
- Able to work outside in various weather conditions, year-round
- Familiarity with hand tools for precision work
- A Valid class 5 license and reliable transportation
- Manual dexterity, coordination and strength include lifting panels up to 60 lbs

#Assets (preferred but not required):

- Solar installation experience. On job training will be provided
- Solar training and/or solar installation certification (SAIT, NAIT, NABCEP, SEI, etc)
- Valid Fall Protection training/certification
- Experience working on sloped roofs (commercial or residential)

How to Apply:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
