Position Overview: As an Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist at Blue Ocean Management Group Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable, payroll, and ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Maintain accounts payable and accrual ledgers.
- Execute invoice approval and sign offs on a continuous basis.
- Complete payments to vendors, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Reconcile bank and loan accounts on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile employee expense reports on a monthly basis.
- Maintain intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month end and year end close processes.
- Additional reporting as necessary.
Payroll:
- Assist in the preparation of bi-weekly payroll.
- Submission of ROE’s.
- Maintain relevant intercompany accounts.
- Prepare payroll remittances to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
