Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Our manufacturing facility located in Edmonton, Alberta is currently recruiting a Brake Press Operator for Day Shift or Weekend Shift. Reporting to the General Foreman the Brake Press Operator is responsible for the set up and safe operation of the brake press and rolls.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Set up and operation of a 1000 ton CNC brake press and 10ft. CNC rolls,
- Working with steel 3/16” to 1 ½ “ thickness in the press brake and ¼” to 2” in the rolls
- Adhere to quality control standards and procedures
- Read blue prints and schematics
- Material handling
- Documentation
- Safety conscious with full participation in the Safety program and all safety requirements
- Perform basic machine maintenance procedures
- A minimum of two years’ experience operating a brake press
- Demonstrate mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills to productively complete work in a logical manner and to meet all deadlines
- Crane and rigging and forklift operator certifications are assets
