Almac is currently recruiting for an experienced **Brake Operator **to work in our metal shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and working mainly in a fabrication shop environment.

**Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- Steel toed boots are required (all other PPE will be provided).
- Must be experienced using Shears, Power Brakes, Saws, Drills, Slitters, and Power Hand tools.
- Experience in a manufacturing shop is preferred.
- Experience reading specifications as well as following verbal instructions.
- Be able to cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, spot weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
- Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
- Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist.
- Document work completed.
- Some heavy lifting may be required.
- Communicate clearly in English.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
