**Job Summary**

We’re looking for a dedicated and high-energy **Front of House (FOH) Team Member** to join the crew at Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken. This role is a key part of delivering fast, friendly service and making sure every guest walks away happy. You’ll be responsible for cashier duties, expo (packing orders), and creating a warm, welcoming environment for our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly and create a friendly first impression
- Process orders using our POS system (dine-in, takeout, and delivery)
- Handle payments, including cash and card transactions, with accuracy
- Pack and check orders at the expo station — you’re the last line of defense before the food goes out
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Address customer questions or concerns with a helpful attitude
- Maintain a clean and organized front of house (including counters and guest areas)
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

**What You Bring**
- Experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment (preferred but not required)
- Comfort operating POS systems and managing cash/card payments
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to stay cool under pressure during busy rushes
- Detail-oriented — especially when checking packed orders
- Positive team player who’s always ready to help out
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
