**Position Summary**
As our Front of House (FOH) Manager, you'll play a pivotal role and will report directly to the ownership team. Your responsibilities will extend beyond overseeing daily operations; you'll also be responsible for hiring and training staff, as well as collaborating with the culinary team on all cafe menu development. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our cafe, bakery, and restaurant areas operate seamlessly, delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.
**What you’ll do,**
- Collaborate with the culinary team to curate and refine our menu offerings, ensuring they reflect our commitment to quality and innovation.
- Collaborate with the ownership team to define service standards including atmosphere and overall ambiance
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front of house, including staff management, training, hiring and scheduling, to maintain impeccable service standards.
- Manage inventory levels and control costs to optimize profitability
- Coordinate special events, promotions, and seasonal features to attract and retain customers, working closely with the marketing team to ensure their success.
- Uphold health and safety standards to provide a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, always striving to exceed expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
**Your work experience and skills,**
- Previous experience as a Front of House Manager in a cafe, bakery, or restaurant setting, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proven experience in launching new ventures, including recruitment and setup.
