**DESCRIPTION**:
Do you want to learn the basics of running a successful team and have fun doing it? Reporting to the General Manager. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting with overall supervising activities of HOH staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, providing friend and efficient guest service, having some background knowledge of Serving and Cooking.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure the excellent levels of service are being delivered to the guest during service.
- Ensure that all equipment used is in safe working order, checked regularly and any faults are reported to management, while ensuring equipment is not used until safe.
- Action guest concerns and compliments by praising staff and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Comply with all Denny’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Running food and performing table-side service during busy periods to support your serving team.
- Making sure food is made in the promptly timing.
- Assist the General Manager with all aspect of restaurant operations.
- Other duties as required
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Must have Smart Serve Certified
- Must have Food Handlers Certified
- Must have background knowledge of the operation of Franchises Restaurant.
**EDUCATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Previous serving and cooking experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have strong intuitive.
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Must wear the mask. All require as per york region public health COVID - 19.
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification, Smart Serve (required)
Work Location: One location
