**About the Role**:
At Serenia Life, we have a number of projects on the go. Business Analysts play a critical role in the success of our projects from gathering requirements, to testing, participating in implementation planning and supporting our business users after a release. We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with a passion for hands-on participation in projects as well as some day to date activites. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Meet with stakeholders, collect feedback from them and turn them into clearly articulated requirements
- Lead User Acceptance Testing for new solutions/enhancements to ensure they are ready for deployment
- Consult with leadership on operational effectiveness opportunities and recommend process improvements
- Create user documentation/procedures when introducing new technologies or components
- Investigate transactional errors to identify root cause and partner with our IT team to resolve where required

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Previous experience as a Business Analyst for projects and/or steady state teams (minimum 3 years)
- Previous experience in the Insurance industry
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends/errors etc
- Demonstrated strength in communicating, often as a liaison between functional Business users, IT, and vendors with a goal to ensure understanding across the key parties
- Results-driven individual with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to manage competing priorities and set clear expectations for your stakeholders

**Nice to Haves**:

- Training in one or more process improvement methodologies
- Previous experience with Life Insurance
- 5+ years in the Insurance Industry
