Reporting to the Regional Administrative Services Manager, the Supervisor, Administration (Lower Mainland, Directly Managed) is responsible for supervising a team of Property Portfolio Assistants in performing rent calculation, tenant support and administrative support functions. He/she/they ensures consistency, accuracy and quality control in the work of Property Portfolio Assistants across the Lower Mainland region. The position also supports the Regional Administrative Services Manager in performing various administration functions.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**EDUCATION & **EXPERIENCE**:
- Diploma in business administration or other relevant field.
- Considerable experience in delivering administrative activities, including using office and accounting computer systems.
- Sound experience in supervising a team of staff.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the employer.
- Criminal record check is required
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of office administration processes, systems and practices
- Working knowledge of accounting practices
- Working knowledge of inventory administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise a team of staff
- Ability to organize and schedule work to meet deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
- Ability to arrange suitable transportation within the Lower Mainland region
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
